YOU DESERVE QUALITY CARE
Have you ever compartmentalized, edited, or hidden aspects of yourself so you could access therapy?
You absolutely should not have to.
You deserve quality mental health care without shame or stigma, where you can show up fully without fear of being judged or pathologized for your identity or desires. This includes queer, ace, trans, non-binary, and gender expansive people, as well as kinky individuals and relationships, sex workers, non-monogamous relationships, and those who live at the intersection of multiple identities and sites of marginalization.
Your mental health care should be as inspired and creative as you are, supporting artists, creative professionals, innovators, and organizers whose job is to thrive outside the box, push beyond the status quo, and demand a better, more just, and vibrant world.
If you're ready to feel more in control of your life, more loving and accepting of yourself and others, and more resourced and supported, I'm here for you.

Boxes are great - for old photos, loose LEGOs, those extra cables you'll never use but don't want to throw away. But for human identities, emotions, and experiences? Not so much.
Psychology often trades in boxes and labels - as a science, we love to categorize. I believe things like diagnostic categories and identity labels are only as useful as they provide a shorthand for you to describe yourself and your experiences. I hold them lightly, and always take the lead of those I'm working with when it comes to the way you understand yourself. You are the expert in your own experience; I'm here to help you organize and make the most of this expertise, be a supportive guide, and help you mobilize the tools and resources you need to thrive.
As a mental healthcare professional, I support the myriad inherent strengths and resiliencies of all neurodivergent people.

“Contrary to what we may have been taught to think, unnecessary and unchosen suffering wounds us but need not scar us for life. It does mark us. What we allow the mark of our suffering to become is in our own hands.” |
We love telehealth!
I get it. Since the pandemic started, the amount of time we spend on video calls has gone way up.
But here's the thing: I love teletherapy. It makes therapy more accessible. You don't have to take extra time out of your day to travel to my office, there's no concern about late busses or finding parking. And I get to work with people anywhere in the states of California, Colorado, and Washington (where I'm licensed to practice psychology), not just San Francisco (where I'm based).
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in an effort to make my services as accessible as possible, all therapy and consulting services are offered via telehealth. I host appointments using a HIPAA-compliant Zoom platform, and existing clients can access billing and healthcare records through my client portal.
Visit the Services page to learn more about individual psychotherapy and counseling for couples and multi-partner relationships who live in California, Colorado, and Washington, as well as consulting, coaching, and educational services worldwide.
